Ogontz is a magnificent 300-acre facility in the White Mountains which includes rustic log cabin accommodations, meeting halls, lodges, and a dining hall where delicious home-cooked meals are served. There are tennis courts, a small secluded lake, pine woods, hiking trails beside streams and waterfalls, and spectacular mountain views. The atmosphere is informal and conducive to study and relaxation. Accommodations include rustic log cabins that can house four to six people. Cabins are equipped with electricity and mattresses. Bring your own sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, and towels. Shower and toilet facilities are shared and are housed in log cabin style buildings. Accommodations will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and will be at the discretion of the Institute Directors. If you have special needs, please make them known on your registration form. Ogontz is run with a cooperative plan. All families will be asked to help with food preparation and chores, which will be assigned at camp. All parents and teens can expect to work for one hour each day, with younger children also helping out. If you would like to learn more about Camp Ogontz, click here to visit their website. |
